I hit the eggs springs, but other than THAT little mishap, this was intense as all hell. Not meaning to brag, but THIS TOOK SO MUCH OUTTA ME, I GOTTA SHOW IT FOR PROOF the rooftop run one's happened to me before, but a funnier incident happened today where i got a good jump off the rail and went flying, caught an invisible rail high above that doorway and rode said rail into the wall under the fountain only to become stuck in the geometry. the third one's not really a bug or anything (just a quirk with how sonic handles curved walls and weak slopes at hgher velocities), but it's funny to watch. it's actually a lot of fun.ĮDIT: here's a vid someone did of it in action, second clip. I'll try to take a pic of it, but at the dash ring sequence after the first skyscraper run, by mashing buttons (i think after doing the drift-bumper trick it's been awhile) you can get sonic to do his best blaze impression and twirl into oblivion only to reappear as if nothing happened. odd, since i thought in unleashed those tones changed colors depending on your position. i remember seeing a video of something like that in arid sands when someone didn't use FX, but it looks alright so far when using it. I don't know if it's a skybox oversight with height, or a field issue, but there's a saucy red glare in empire city ( upper right in pic).

It's got that "yamaha" hollow sound, but the kingwood gives it some warmth. I've not been playing every day for a while, but I settled on a kingwood yamaha 841 duet plus that is lined. I wanted an oboe I could replace with ease, unlike a lot of loree friends who were left searching for months seeking another Lorre that felt similar to the one they were on. Once I played on some others, I found them to be more forgiving of reed work, a better in-tune scale, and consistent. The non-ak's have a really short life span and a lot of people are left selling their blown out lorees to students/the unsuspecting. Our studio found that the AK's when new are pretty squirrelly, but when other oboes would blow out, some of the AK's actually hit their prime and are playable for decades. With a perfect reed and a great instrument, lorees can be incredible. They have a few things going for them: they are loud and colorful. These oboes just demand a perfect reed every time and are unforgiving. The E5 sits really low to me and has wild flexibility and the color change from c to c# is way different than other makers and hard to mask. I've tried dozens over the years and I find them to be colorful, yes - but a bear to play in tune. Definitely would take me more than 2 to find a good fit especially at that age. In Lost in Transaction 2018: The future of payments for SMBs we asked small-to-medium-sized businesses in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and Austria about accepting cryptocurrencies through their online checkout. Businesses that are aware of the pressing need to stay relevant as the payments ecosystem fragments by accepting more payment methods at the checkout are increasingly open to the idea of accepting cryptocurrencies, in line with the increased consumer appetite for making crypto payments. For cryptocurrencies to develop into a credible alternative to fiat currencies they need to make the leap from simply having value to being a widely accepted payment method, both online and on the high street.ĭespite some initial concerns (25% of merchants we asked for our 2017 Lost in Transaction research said that they did not trust cryptocurrencies), it appears that we have reached a tipping point when it comes to the appetite for using cryptocurrencies as a payment source. The growth of cryptocurrencies has been one of the prevailing themes in finance for over decade, dating back to the release of Satoshi Nakamoto’s 2008 paper mooting the first direct peer-to-peer payment system.īut despite the headlines and supporters that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have garnered, one of the major criticisms that has been levelled at them is that they are not currencies in the truest sense, because they are of little practical use beyond being a store of wealth and an asset to trade.
